At Christel House Mexico, we believe every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and build a different future. But for that to happen, they first need proper nourishment. Nutrition is more than just a plate of food: it is the spark that fuels the energy to focus in class, the clarity to solve a math problem, the strength to play at recess, and above all, the confidence that their dreams are within reach.

That is why receiving the Global Community Impact Grant from The Starbucks Foundation fills us with joy and deep gratitude. This support is not only recognition of our work but also a tangible opportunity to continue caring for our students from the most essential starting point: their nutrition.

With this grant, we will be able to strengthen our nutrition program, through which our students receive 80% of their daily caloric needs. This ongoing support makes a world of difference: every breakfast and every meal served in our kitchen is an investment in a child’s ability to focus better, in a teenager’s energy to prepare for an exam, or in a young person’s courage to dream of going to college.

The Global Community Impact Grant program, which has already invested more than $14 million dollars to support over 200 organizations across 62 countries, strengthens local projects that truly impact communities.

Thanks to The Starbucks Foundation and local partners who believe in the power of investing in people, we continue to build a path of hope and social mobility.
