In accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Private Parties (“the Law“), published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on July 5, 2010, Christel House de México, A.C. (hereinafter jointly referred to as “Christel House“) hereby inform the general public and the owners of personal data and sensitive personal data of the purposes for which, with the tacit or express consent of said owners, they make use of the personal data and sensitive personal data that they collect derived from the various activities and services they carry out and provide within the United Mexican States, as well as the mechanisms they use to guarantee access, protection, integrity and confidentiality of said personal data.
For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, Personal Data shall be understood as any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person, for example identification data, employment data and property data, and Sensitive Personal Data shall be understood as personal data that affects the intimate sphere of its owner, or whose improper use may give rise to discrimination or entail a serious risk for the owner. In particular, data that may reveal aspects such as racial or ethnic origin, present and future state of health, genetic information, religious, philosophical and moral beliefs, trade union membership, political opinions and sexual preference are considered sensitive.
For all purposes related to this privacy notice, Christel House indicates as its address the one located at Rufina Street No. 40, Colonia Tacubaya, zip code 11870, Mexico City. Christel House will be responsible, in the terms provided by Law, for the treatment it gives to said Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data and will decide on the treatment of the same. Christel House appoints Mr. Ysauro Rossette Ramírez as head of the Personal Data Department, which will be located at the aforementioned address, telephone 30040932 to 38.
By providing Christel House with information that constitutes Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data, you will also be deemed to consent to the processing of such data in accordance with this notice.
The Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data that have been provided to us and that will be provided to us hereinafter, will be used primarily to identify, locate and contact you; for the issuance of the corresponding tax receipt; registration and monitoring of their contribution, registration in the donor database, as well as any other purpose similar to those established herein, and will be protected by administrative, technical and physical security measures, to prevent their damage, loss, alteration, destruction, use, access or improper disclosure.
The Personal Data that Christel House usually collects consists, among others, of: (i) full name; (ii) tax domicile; (iii) Federal Taxpayer Registry Code; (iv) email; (v) home, office, or mobile phone; and (vi) preferred form of contact.
If you do not expressly object to Christel House’s use or disclosure of your Personal Data and/or Sensitive Personal Data for the purposes set out above or your wish to limit such purposes, we will understand that you agree to such use or disclosure. If you wish to limit or object to Christel House’s use or disclosure of your Personal Data and/or Sensitive Personal Data, please notify our Personal Data Department Officer in writing.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, we inform you that you have the right to: (i) know the Personal Data and/or Sensitive Personal Data that have been collected about you and are in the possession of Christel House, (ii) request the rectification of said data when they are inaccurate or incomplete – and must prove the origin of such modification-, (iii) request the deletion of the data in question, and (iv) oppose for legitimate cause the processing of the same –rights called by Law as the right of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition, respectively-.
The request referred to in the previous paragraph must be submitted in writing to the person in charge of Christel House’s Personal Data Department and must contain: (i) name of the owner of the information and his/her address or other means of communicating the response, (ii) documents proving his/her identity or the corresponding legal representation, (iii) clear and precise description of the personal data with respect to which the corresponding right is exercised and (iv) any other element that facilitates the location of the personal data.
Unless you expressly notify Christel House to the contrary through its Personal Data Department, Christel House will understand that you agree to the transfer of your Personal Data and/or Sensitive Personal Data to third parties, in which case, Christel House will communicate this Privacy Notice to such third parties who will assume the same obligations that correspond to Christel House under this Privacy Notice.
Any changes made to this Privacy Notice will be communicated by publication in a newspaper of wide circulation or through our website es.christelhouse.org/privacy-policy.html
