At Christel House Mexico, democracy is not only taught—it’s lived. With great excitement, our middle and high school students took part in a true electoral process to elect their new Student Council for the 2025–2026 school year.
Over several weeks, student parties organized campaigns with posters, classroom visits, and proposals designed to improve school life. The process also included the drawing of polling officers, voter registration, and ballot counting—following the same protocol as a real election.
We are especially grateful to representatives from the National Electoral Institute (INE), who trained our students and supervised the entire process. Their support ensured that every vote was counted and highlighted that educating for life also means preparing responsible, participative, and engaged citizens.
On Election Day, excitement filled the campus. After a fair and transparent process, the results were revealed: the Socialist Popular Party – blue color will represent the students this school year.
Congratulations to:
Ayun, María Guadalupe, Tamara, Camila, Fernando, Kevin, and Rodolfo.
Beyond the outcome, this experience was invaluable—it taught our students about participation, respect for differences, and the certainty that every voice and every vote matters.
At Christel House Mexico, we build community. Because here, we nurture citizenship, leadership, and commitment to the future.
